What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We use Google Analytics in order to track anonymously the number of visitors which visit our website and in order to understand which content they like the most.
We use also Facebook pixels in order to give you the content you like most. It’s mainly used for retargeting purposes.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you subscribe to one of our courses, workshops or membership area or other products of your choice, your data and its metadata are retained indefinitely in order to make it work and give you an uninterrupted service that you have subscribed to.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. You other personal data may be stored on our service providers as Mailchimp, Selz.com, GetDpd, Invoicely or DropBox, Wetransfer and WordPress.

When you subscribe to any of our products or events, we add you to our newsletter in order to send you informations about the product or the event you have subscribed to. We can’t send an email to each person which subscribes to our servicer or products so being part of our Newsletter is a must in order to use our products or join our events.
Of course you can unsubscribe whenever you like, simply pressing the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email you receive from us.
We send our email only in order to inform you about the product or event you have subscribed to, send you promotions, discounts or articles (or other) about the field you are interested in.
We can send also emails about freelancing, our direct experiences in business, Photoshop techniques and simply anything related to creativity and creative business.
We hate spam and if at any point you feel like we are spamming you, please consider to unsubscribe from the list you are on.
We use Mailchimp to send our emails but we can change this service anytime in order to give you the best service possible. Mailchimp is responsable for storing your personal datas on their secure servers. When you unsubscribes from our list, Mailchimp sends us a memo which is managed by Gmail or our email service provider which is also our hosting, Siteground.
Mailchimp tracks the opening of our emails and the clicks on the links we send you. We use this data in order to give you the best content possible and avoid to send you info which you do not like.
You can unsubscribe from our mailing list any time as mentioned above. After you unsubscribes, Mailchimp can continue to store your data. If you like us to clean them for good, please send us an email to email@example.com and request this action.
Membership area and courses
Our courses are sold using the Selz.com platform. Most of the workshops and digital products are processed using the secure service GetDpd. All your personal data are stored on their secure servers and in order to use our products, it’s necessary to store these datas.
Example: If you lose your membership username and password or you need to download a course again because the download link has expired, we need to access your personal data in order to send you the requested informations.
You can ask us to cancel your data for good sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and request this action but be aware that this can bring to an interruption of the service you are receiving from us.
We do not have access and we do not store your payment informations in any form. All of the transactions processed by PayPal, Selz.com or GedDpd are stored on their secure servers.
What we really use is your name and your email in order to send you informations about your product, subscription or all of we have mentioned above in the Newsletter section of this document.
In order to give you the service you have subscribed to we can send you personal emails or store your projects on Dropbox. We can also send your files via Wetransfer or receive these files from you.
Our invoices are processed by Invoicely.
Our membership area is running on WordPress so you data as Name and Email are stored on the WordPress platform which is hosted on our secure server on SiteGround.
We also use platforms as YouTube, Google Hangout, Facebook Live and Zoom in order to provide webinars. You personal data could be stored on the servers of one or more of these providers.

How we protect your data
Your datas are stored on secure servers of the services we use to give you the service we offer. Our web site is hosted via SSL on SiteGround.
